5 Delicious Instant Pot Pudding Recipes

If you have an Instant Pot at your home, then I am sure you are already aware of the delicacies you can make using it. Instant Pot is mostly renowned to produce delicious soups, pasta, casseroles, chicken, brisket, creamy beans, even yogurt. and mouth-watering meat dishes.

But did you know you can also make some irresistible desserts and puddings in this multi-cooker?

Here are my four favorite pudding recipes made using Instant Pot.

Maple bread pudding

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • One cup melted butter
  • 7 pieces of bread
  • One cup maple syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • One cup whipping cream
  • One teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  • Grease an oven-safe form that fits in your instant pot with the butter
  • Combine the syrup, eggs, cream, and vanilla.
  • Place the bread in the instant pot and pour the cream mixture over it.
  • Cover with tin foil.
  • Set instant pot to high pressure and adjust the valve to manual.
  • Cook for 12 minutes and allow pressure to release on its own.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream.

Apple bread pudding

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • One cup melted butter
  • 8 pieces of bread
  • One cup maple syrup
  • 5 eggs
  • One cup whipping cream
  • One teaspoon vanilla extract
  • One tablespoon cinnamon
  • One cup apple sauce

Directions:

  • Grease an oven-safe form that fits in your instant pot with the butter
  • Combine the syrup, eggs, cream, cinnamon, applesauce, and vanilla.
  • Place the bread in the instant pot and pour the cream mixture over it.
  • Cover with tin foil.
  • Set instant pot to high pressure and adjust the valve to manual.
  • Cook for 12 minutes and allow pressure to release on its own.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream

Maple Almond Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

  • One cup melted butter
  • One cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • One teaspoon almond extract
  • One cup maple syrup
  • One cup instant rice
  • Two eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • One tablespoon coconut nectar

Directions:

  • Fill your instant pot with all of the ingredients.
  • Stir well.
  • Slow cook on the slow cook setting for 6-8 hours.
  • Serve warm or chill in the refrigerator.
  • Top with whipped cream and fresh fruit such as strawberries.
  • Garnish with a sprig of Apple.

Strawberries and millet cream pudding

  • Two cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup of water
  • One teaspoon vanilla extract
  • One cup frozen and thawed strawberries
  • One egg
  • One cup maple syrup
  • One cup millet flakes

Directions:

  • Fill your instant pot with all of the ingredients.
  • Stir well.
  • Slow cook on the slow cook setting for 6-8 hours.
  • Serve warm or chill in the refrigerator.
  • Top with whipped cream and fresh fruit such as strawberries.
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Banana Bread Pudding
